Twenty
six boats and 104 anglers from St. Thomas and 14 boats and
60 anglers from St. Croix fished it out in the 7th Annual
Caribbean Auto Mart Wahoo Windup on Sunday. The weather couldn't
have been nicer in a tournament known for rough seas. The
Caribbean Auto Mart Chevy Colorado Truck had to be returned
to the lot as no angler caught a Wahoo over 75 pounds. The
largest Wahoo, and the 1st Place prize of $1000, went to
St Croix angler Larry Kupfer onboard Sunflower with a catch
of 34.5 pounds. The best boat award went to St. Thomas boat
Little Double Header with 3 Wahoo totaling 76.3 pounds. A
total of 19 fish weighing 472 pounds were caught. Not the
best year but not bad.

Larget Wahoo over 75 lbs. wins the a truck.
Cash and merchandise will be awarded for the next 10 largest
Wahoo.
Angler with the largest Wahoo not winning truck - $1,000
Best Boat prize determined by most wahoo by count - $1,000
Contestants must be present at the Awards Ceremony to receive
prizes.
IGFA rules for record fish are in effect for this event.
Maximum allowable line will be 80 lb. test per IGFA rules.
No wire lines or electric reels.
Planer & Downriggers must release the main fishing line.

Virgin Islands waters only!
Western boundary is the western tip of Vieques
Lines in at 6:30 AM on Sunday, November 12th.
Entrants from St. Thoms
will weigh in at American Yacht Harbor, entrants from St.
Croix, at Christiansted Boardwalk.
All boats must be at weigh-in points by 4 PM or will be disqualified.
